The Original Shrine

The Original Shrine, in Schoenstatt is where where the Movement was founded on October 18th 1914 by Father Kentenich. There are now over 200 replicas of this shrine worldwide.

The small Schoenstatt Shrine is the central place in Schoenstatt, the source of the special graces that God wants to give here:

• the grace of being innerlich at home in people and in God,
• the grace of spiritual transformation; unfolding the best that God has placed within me,
• the grace of apostolic fruitfulness, motivation and empowerment to discover my personal vocation/mission and become a blessing to others.
